Aneta Zielinska

ROLE: Designer (3D, Photoshop, Motion, Flash)
MEDIA: Digital, website

I worked closely with Aneta on her website. She had some general ideas of how she wanted it to look. My responsibility was to make these ideas come to life.

This project was completely executed by me: from designing, modelling, animating to developing.

INSPIRATION: Me and Aneta discussed about the website for a very long time. We both wanted it to be perfect. Aneta had a general idea in mind. She wanted the home page to look like an old room: feminine, airy and a little bit dusty. She wanted to have interesting objects in it, e.g.  a swing, a flowing curtain and clouds… many clouds. It had to go well with her own work aesthetic.

PRODUCTION: The project evolved from basic sketches on paper to a digital 3D model. I personally modelled most objects, including the wardrobe, the bed and the cage. I also animated the scene: e.g. the waving curtain and the swing. Objects like the pigeon or the slightly moving dress in the wardrobe were edited in After Effects. Those small, barely noticeable animated details (did you notice dust by the window?) made the website alive and airy.
